Aloha, We went out to eat today and started with the fried dumpling sampler as an appetizer, paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Then we had the spicy crab roll and the Wicked Wahine. To finish off the experience, we ordered the fried donuts for dessert. The food was excellent, the service and atmosphere excellent too, and the music was just perfect. I would definitely come back!

Wok by the Beach is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for cheap, corner-store sushi with cheap preserved tuna this isn’t that. They use only high-quality, fresh fish, and you can taste the difference in every bite. The sushi is excellent clean, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their Pad Thai is also spot on. On top of the food, the atmosphere is something special. One of the most stunning ocean murals I’ve ever seen takes up the wall, painted by none other than THE Carey Chen. If you care about quality and want something beyond the usual takeout sushi, this spot delivers. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful dining experience. We found this place on a walk by, no pun intended, and in a strip mall setting. We made reservations for their happy hour. We decided to sit at the bar to watch the Kris the owner and chef performed his magic. I had the chefs choice sashimi special (20 pieces with a spicy tuna salad for 48). Wow, is all I can say on the presentation, freshness, taste, and atmosphere. Kris is a very colorful character and a true master of the sushi, sashimi culinary art. We were truly inspired by the journey Kris has made to bring him to his current location. I encourage you to look at the menu (as there are many choices outside sashimi and sushi), 5 stars, and a true treasure to the Singer Island area.

Super tasty and fresh sushi! And their lunch specials are a great deal - we shared a bento box with sashimi, a small roll, salad, and some fried dumplings. Very filling and decently priced for a touristy area. And the interior was eclectic but super fun and our server was great! Definitely recommend.

First time going to Wok by the Beach and we will definitely be back. For being the only sushi restaurant on singer island it has very good quality fish. My kids absolutely love sushi and they ate their whole plate. The drunken noodle was also very delicious. Very fresh ingredients and the service was excellent.

WOW. Surprising for a strip mall with dumpy other restaurants and a 7 eleven. Low expectations. TOTALLY WRONG. The sushi was amazing and so many choices. The fried rice to compliment the sushi was amazing. Service was very friendly. Very clean restaurant. Definitely a place to come back to.

I visited this restaurant in June 2025. The decor is very nice and vibrant. I started off with the Tom Kha soup which has a coconut soup base with mushrooms, tomatoes, and scallions. This was an excellent started and you can augment with chicken or shrimp. For my main course, I had the sashimi app which features 3 pieces of tuna, salmon, hamachi, and whitefish. This was served on a bed of crushed ice & the bowl had a decorative ice mold as well. The fish were very fresh and delicious. I definitely had enough to fill me and ate every last morsel. I didn’t have room for dessert but will definitely be back to try some of the sushi and further explore the menu. I was very satisfied with what I had.
